The purpose of the test was to check the dynamic behaviour of a system consisting of a support and an aerial surveillance camera installed on an EC135 skid.
The test, mandatory in order to certify the system according to EASA regulations, was aimed at demonstrating that no resonance was present in the structure in the frequency range excited during normal helicopter operations.
Tests were carried out on behalf of Boggi Aeronautics S.r.l. (www.boggisrl.eu) at the airport “Amedeo Duca d’Aosta” in Gorizia.
