The purpose of the test was to check the dynamic behaviour of a HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) system to be installed on an AgustaWestland AW169.
In particular, the modal frequencies of the MMC (Modular Medical Cabinet) was anayzed.
The test, mandatory in order to certify the system according to EASA regulations, was aimed at demonstrating that no resonance was present in the structure in the frequency range excited during normal helicopter operations.
